Owned and operated by Rick Hemmett and his grandson Eric Hemmett, this partnership prides itself on integrity, service and quality . The business was founded by Rick’s great-grandfather over one hundred years ago and has been passed on from generation to generation.

Rick apprenticed with his parents and grandparents and has been active in the industry for nearly fifty years. Early in his career he also worked in some of the major furniture manufacturing factories in order to broaden his experience.

He has been sharing his knowledge with Eric for the past number of years, thus insuring the continuation of this family owned business through six generations.

Conveniently situated at their Springbank location, just minutes west of Calgary and only 3.5 kms south of Calaway Park, the setting offers many advantages to their clients. The workshop and showroom are  located on the acreage where they live so they are not burdened with excessive big city rents, daily commuter costs, or many of the other expenses that their competitors face.
